Organized by China Foundry Association, the 9th “Metal China” was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center 3-6 fo June, 2008. To meet the demands of castings market, “China Casting International 2008” was held in conjunction.

Through two decades development, “Metal China”, successfully held for 8 editions, has evolved into a globally renowned exhibition of the industry and has been fully recognized as one of the three top foundry tradeshows in the world and largest one in Asia.
This year about 1.000 companies from 39 countries & regions showcased their competence on space of 50.000 m2. About 50.000 visitors came to visit this event.
As largest casting production country all over the world, the importance and position of China in global supply-chain is mounting. In this edition of CHINA CASTING INTERNATIONAL 2008, various casting products formed a special display area in order to meet this huge demand from home and abroad and to stay ahead in the competition.
Two expositions built a new concept “CHINA CASTING INTERNATIONAL”, cementing the position of the event as fully integrated and professional platform to share ideas, discuss industry developments, do business within foundry industry.
CHINA CASTING INTERNATIONAL 2008, specially allocated in Hall W4 of Shanghai New International Expo Center, covered space of 12,000 sq.m. Divided by products, visitors could see automobile castings pavilion, bearing pavilion, molding casting pavilion and precision casting, artistic casting, full-mold casting and die casting professional pavilion. In addition, characterized by local economic strength, provincial and local “Casting Industry Zone” pavilions (including showcase of development and investment invitation conference) made its debut in this exhibition, enriching the highlights of this event.
