India, Brazil, S Africa for Cooperation

New Delhi,  Foreign ministers from India, Brazil and South Africa, together in this capital, agreed on Tuesday of the need for fostering mechanisms of cooperation to guarantee economic growth.

India's Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Brazil's Celso Amorin and South Africa's Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma analyzed this aspect, as part of arrangements for the second summit of heads of state of the three nations, slated for October.

A release issued at the end of the meeting exhorted the World Trade Organization members to break deadlock in the Doha Round negotiations.

The three states advocated for "eliminating trade distortions, especially those that limit the access to developed markets," and reforming the UN Security Council to achieve the entrance of members from Africa, Latin America and Asia.
