It took place in an amazing location "Borgo San Vitale" - Borgonato di Cortefranca (Brescia) on Thursday, November 24 the annual meeting organized by Amafond (italian Association of companies which produce machinery, plants, furnaces products and services for the foundry industry) between its Associates and their clients of the most important foundries located throughout Italy.
The opening session was held by the Amafond President, Mr. Piero Starita with its welcome speech followed by the Speech of Mr. Enrico Frigerio, President of Assofond.
There have been two interventions, the first made by Mr. Pio De Gregorio, from Centrobanca, and the second made by Mr. Massimo Cacciari, a renowed political scientist.
Several themes emerged during this part of the event and they regarded mainly the present and future macroscenaries for the foundry sector to provide ideas for the next debate on the present moment of the industry and its relationship with the banks but also the risks and opportunities for Italy in the global economy.
Amafond is very satisfied with the success of this evening which has seen the involvement of about 160 people.
