The German Carmaker has apologised for an ad with a little girl eating a banana in front of a high-performance car grille.
Audi tweeted: “We hear you and let´s get this straight: We care for children”
They sincerely apologize for this insensitive image and ensure that it will not be used in future.
Critics said that the child´s pose was provocative and live-threatening. Some pointed out, that the driver would not be able to see the child leaning on the grill.
My personal opinion as Audi-driver and fan:
Rebuke your Marketing and your agency, and think before you circulate it. Otherwise, it would suggest that it is part of your strategy.
