Office Staffed with Commercial Director and Parts and Service Technician
Cold Jet®, the global leader in dry ice manufacturing and dry ice cleaning solutions, announced the opening of their newest global office in Madrid, Spain. The office is located at 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón in the high growth area of Somosaguas, just 15 km away from the historical center of Madrid.
“We opened the Madrid office to support the Spanish and Portuguese markets directly, with a plan for further expansion in the southern Europe territories, including Italy, Greece and the Balkan countries,” said Wim Eeckelaers, Global Business Director & Commercial Director EURAF of Cold Jet. “Also, due to the large number of sales in the last 10 years via Praxair, our distributor, we realized the need for local maintenance and support in order to serve our customer base more efficiently.”
The office will stock the full range of Cold Jet dry ice cleaning systems and have onsite sales and service staff trained in the utilization, inspection, maintenance and repair of Cold Jet systems. Cold Jet Madrid shares a three story building (Foro de Somosaguas) with construction companies, language academies and marketing and communication agencies. Office team members include Carlos Sainz de los Terreros Sastre and Raúl Hernández Sánchez.
Carlos Sainz is the Commercial Director for Southern Europe. Prior to joining Cold Jet, Sainz served as an advisor for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He also held multiple analyst positions within Caja Madrid in the Risk Admission and Organization departments, as well as a trader position in Allfunds Bank. Sainz holds a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) in Madrid and speaks fluently Spanish, English and French.
Raúl Hernández is the Parts and Service Technician. Prior to joining Cold Jet, Hernández served as a Technician Salesman for Telce and held many Technical Industrial Engineer positions, most recently for ThyssenKrupp Elevators in Spain. Hernández has 10 years of experience in dry ice cleaning and holds a Technical Industrial Engineering in Mechanical degree from the University of Salamanca – Béjar in Spain and speaks Spanish and English.
