GER - Tebis records highest CAD/CAM sales ever in 2011

Lesedauer: min

Tebis, a provider of 3D CAD/CAM systems for the model, mould and die manufacturing industries, increased its sales in 2011 by a double-digit percentage.

The company generated sales of €40 million worldwide last year, the highest figure in the company’s history. The increase it had enjoyed in the previous year was overshadowed by the growth in 2011. Management cited business in the EU countries and Asia as the primary contributor to last year’s strong advance.

Tebis’s international distributors expanded their sales of software and services by more than 10% last year. Business in Germany grew the most, increasing by more than 15%. In the area of sales of new software, the growth level was an impressive 50%, approximately.

The positive trend has continued into 2012: sales in the first quarter of this year were quite a bit higher than sales in the same period of 2011.

“This development clearly shows that manufacturing companies are working to increase their efficiency around the world in order to remain profitable, and Tebis CAD/CAM systems help our customers effectively use their production resources and expertise,” explained Bernhard Rindfleisch, CEO and member of the Tebis AG management board.

Headquartered in Martinsried near Munich, Tebis supplies its eponymous software to companies in manufacturing-intensive industries, to help them organise their CAD/CAM process chains. More than 8,200 Tebis CAD/CAM systems are installed in approximately 2,000 companies worldwide.
