SAKTHI Portugal SP21, an initial investment of 36 M€, is scheduled to inaugurate its 1st molding line on the 18th of February 2017, and to employ around 135 people at launch. The Butterfly overall investments will surpass the EUR 100 million and are estimated to create around 1,500 direct and 10,000 indirect jobs.
One of the novelties is the Industrial Tourism promotion: the plant has a “see-all” path that allows visitors to see every aspect of SP21 safely during working hours. The visit will be free.
