Saudi Arabia - Machinex Arabia draws 10,000 visitors

RIYADH - Over 10,000 people visited the Machinex Arabia 2015, the four-day industrial and machinery exhibition which concluded recently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The exhibition was organised by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE). The exhibition focused on new technologies in machinery, industrial and engineering sectors, said a statement.

Zahoor Siddique, vice president of ACE, said: “The idea behind organising the exhibition in Jeddah was to provide a platform to local and international industrialists to launch new products, market existing products and to showcase the latest innovations. We received tremendous response from the industrialists.”

He added: “Innovative technology was the highlight of the 5th Machinex Arabia 2015 with new products launched.”

A total of 150 exhibitors from from Egypt, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, UK and US presented their latest innovations, added the statement.

The visitors mainly came from the general machinery engineering industry and many exhibitors expressed satisfaction about good business and quality visitors.

The exhibition featured a range of latest technologies such as machinery and services for factories, cleaning, recycling and treatment, compressors and generators, construction, electrification and climate control, factory plant and machine tools, materials handling and vehicles, measuring and weighing devices, metal working, die-casting and welding, mining, oil and gas, operations, maintenance and training, plastics and rubber/injection, printing and packaging, processing, filling and bottling, pumps and turbines, it added.
