TATA Steel said that its sales from its Indian operations rose 14% YoY in the April to June period to 1.59 million tonnes. Sales of long steel product rose by 16% YoY during the quarter, while sales of flat products increased by rose 12% YoY. It said that the company's crude steel production in India stood at 1.79 million tonnes for the quarter, up by 10%.
