MetalBiz reported that, with the pick up of the demand situation, South Africa's Hernic Ferrochrome Limited recently resumed two ferrochrome furnaces previously went out of production. The company stated that since August 29th 2209 they had started to operate with full production. Hernic is the fourth largest ferrochrome manufacturer throughout the world, and its production is 420,000 tonnes per year.
