Reuters reported that Russia's United Company RUSAL Limited aluminum exchange traded fund could be launched soon.
A RUSAL executive said that market sources say it will be a matter of weeks rather than months.
RUSAL said in September that it would consider supplying the metal to a physically backed aluminum exchange traded fund but would not sponsor the fund itself.
