For the 16th Customer Conference Dr. Wolfgang Andree and his team could welcome 402 participants from 32 different countries.
The performance was deeply affected by high quality lectures and a lot of space for international exchange of ideas and attitudes concerning actual problems and previews for the foundry industry.
The programme of events was branch-specific, divided into the areas pouring and heating. In the mornings, talks were hold for the pouring sector on the subjects of "Global trends", "Energy efficiency" and "Practical experiencein pouring and casting work", concluded by a panel discussion on the economic situation in the branch.
At the same time, talks were held on global trends, forging, simulations and technologies for participants from the heating sector.
This programme of events was be accompanied by a specialist exhibition, with around 20 ABP partners presenting their products and technologies to visitors.
Foundry-planet.com will briefly present the most important lectures. So far have a look to the topics and the exhibition.
