There was a particularly warm round of applause for Arnold Steidle on his 50th anniversary. He has worked for the company throughout his career, from his apprenticeship to his current position as Head of Final Assembly in the application department in Tuttlingen. Four employees have been contributing their qualifications and experience for 40 years, while a further 29 were honoured for 25 years of service. In addition, 15 employees have been contributing to the success of the CHIRON Group for ten years.
In addition to Cornelia Braun, CEO Carsten Liske also honoured the employees celebrating their anniversaries: "I am very proud to lead a company with my colleagues on the Group Executive Committee that offers jobs for life. This loyalty to the company stands for in-depth, indispensable knowledge of products, processes and customer requirements. Without all these people, we would not be what we are today." For the CEO, this loyalty is also a sign of success for the wide range of opportunities for qualification and further training: "This allows us to keep opening up exciting opportunities for employees and remain an attractive employer for years and decades to come."
Uwe Keller, First Mayor of the city of Tuttlingen, presented the certificates from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the state of Baden-Württemberg for 40 years of service during the ceremony. In his speech, he emphasised the important role of the CHIRON Group for the town and the region as one of the largest employers and as an excellent training company.
After a small lunch, the Chairman of the Works Council, Ralf Roth, spoke, followed by the honours for 25 years by the respective superiors. They traced the very different professional paths and careers of the jubilarians and gave cause for a smile with one or two anecdotes from everyday working life.
Cornelia Braun, who is responsible for Human Resources in the global management team, spoke at the end of the anniversary celebration: "The anniversary celebration is a very special day in our annual calendar. It gives us the opportunity to celebrate our jubilarians in the presence of the first mayor of Tuttlingen, the management, their superiors and the works council. It's a great opportunity to say thank you for many decades of loyalty, solidarity and commitment."
