Foseco has participated in Metef-Foundeq since the first edition and this year decided to be present once again due both to the shift to the Verona exhibition centre, a prestigious location that is strategically better for access to markets which are crucial to the foundries, and the desire to present the new Group Vesuvius-Foseco which now has a full range of products and equipment for the ferrous and non ferrous foundry industry. The year 2011 was a good year for the sector and given that the outlook for 2012 is optimistic, we believe that participation in Metef-Foundeq is an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with the foundries and to introduce new Foseco products.
In particular, the following will be on display at Foundeq-Metef 2012:
For the Non Ferrous sector:
- FDU - MTS1500 equipment for degassing and the treatment of the latest generation of aluminium alloys;
- ALSPEK HH new sensors for the determination of the hydrogen content in aluminium alloys;
- New ENERTEK crucibles;
- A coating for dosing furnaces made of INSURAL.
For the Ferrous sector:
- ACCUMETRIX new equiment for the continuous measurement of the cast iron temperature in the pouring furnace;
- MSI VISION original software to verify that the addition of the inoculant is aligned with the metal flow and added in the correct proportion;
- ITACA 8, new software for thermal analysis;
- INITEK, an innovative process for the production of ductile iron.
