BORBET, a renowned manufacturer of premium light alloy wheels headquartered in Hallenberg-Hesborn, Germany, has joined a strategic partnership aimed at advancing carbon wheel technology. Together with its wholly owned subsidiary DYMAG Technologies Ltd. and Taiwanese composite materials expert Advanced International Multitech (AIM), the alliance seeks to accelerate the development and industrialization of carbon-hybrid wheel solutions for automotive and motorcycle applications.

This collaboration brings together the unique strengths of all three partners: DYMAG, a pioneer in patented carbon wheel technology with a track record dating back to the 1990s, contributes its engineering expertise; BORBET adds decades of OEM experience and large-scale production capabilities in the aluminum wheel sector; and AIM, Taiwan’s leading carbon composite manufacturer, provides advanced production infrastructure and over 30 years of know-how in scalable composite manufacturing.

The partnership is not only a technological milestone but also a strategic move. It leverages well-established supply chains, global manufacturing networks, and complementary technical expertise to deliver a new generation of lightweight wheels that offer enhanced durability, stiffness, and sustainability. The collaboration is designed to enable seamless integration of carbon-hybrid wheels into OEM production lines.

At the heart of this initiative lies DYMAG’s patented BX-F™ design, setting a new industry standard for lightweight, high-performance wheel solutions. The partnership aims to meet the evolving demands of the mobility sector—particularly regarding efficiency, performance, and safety—by delivering scalable, OEM-ready innovations.
