Teksid Iron Poland Sp z o.o. from Skoczov in Poland have placed an order with OTTO JUNKER GmbH for the design, supply and commissioning of a DUOMELT tandem melting furnace plant, consisting of two coreless furnaces with a capacity of 12,000 kg each and a power rating of 10,000 kW.
The converter plant is of the well-proven DUOMELT design.
The scope of supply includes the exhaust hoods type ROBIN first presented at the GIFA 2011 as well as a water recooler with air/water cooler of glycol-free design.
Commissioning of the overall furnace plant is scheduled for the summer of 2012.
