NürnbergMesse announces an important personnel change within the group: Christopher Boss will step down as head of the international trade fair EUROGUSS at the end of 2025 at his own request. On January 1, 2026, he will take over the management of trendfairs GmbH, a subsidiary of NürnbergMesse that focuses on specialized industry events.
“Christopher Boss has successfully developed EUROGUSS in recent years and contributed significantly to the trade fair's strong positioning as the leading European event for die casting. We thank him for his outstanding commitment and are delighted that he will be contributing his expertise at the helm of trendfairs in the future,” says Dr. Maximilian Maier, Head of Strategy & Portfolio at NürnbergMesse.
Boss will remain responsible for EUROGUSS until the end of 2025
Until his move, Boss will continue to manage EUROGUSS as usual and, together with his team, will set the course for the smooth and successful execution of EUROGUSS 2026, which will take place in Nuremberg from January 13 to 15, 2026.
“EUROGUSS has been close to my heart for many years. It has always been a pleasure to work with a strong team to drive the industry forward,” says Christopher Boss. “I am now looking forward all the more to leading trendfairs into a successful future together with my colleagues. I would like to thank NürnbergMesse for the trust they have placed in me for this new role.”
Successor to be announced in due course
The successor to the management of EUROGUSS and his functions at MedtecLIVE is currently being agreed and will be announced at a later date.
With his move, Boss is also relinquishing his seat on the Supervisory Board of NürnbergMesse GmbH. Marcel Mönkemöller will succeed him there.
