Highly international 57,955 visitors from 97 nations EuroMold 2011 presents a clear increase in visitors and numerous world premieres.

The 18th EuroMold, World Fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development, has successfully closed its doors on December 2, 2011 presenting 57,955 visitors from 97 nations. Thus, the number of visitors has increased by 4.8 percent compared to last year.

This positive trend indicates that the shifting EuroMold to Tuesday until Friday was very successful and well accepted among the visitors, said Dr.-Ing. Eberhard Döring, Exhibition Manager of EuroMold 2011 and CEO of DEMAT GmbH.

With visitors from 97 nations EuroMold was able to expand the very high international presence. Compared to last year, the number of visiting countries represented at EuroMold grew by 12.8 percent. With a ratio of 36.4 percent of visitors from abroad, EuroMold once again underlines its global importance as a leading world trade fair for product development.

EuroMold recorded a significant increase of visitors form Austria and France. In addition the majority of international visitors came from Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey and Korea. Similarly the visitors from Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Russia and Sweden were strongly represented at EuroMold 2011. A great number of delegations acquainted themselves with technical innovations and established business contacts for international cooperation at EuroMold. These delegations included Korea, Japan, Russia, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including international trade fairs cooperation partners of DEMAT GmbH.

EuroMold 2011 presented numerous world premieres from different areas of the process chain. These included new materials, software and various 3D printers, including one of the smallest 3D printers in the world.

1324 exhibitors from 38 nations participated at the 18th World Fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development and show cased their products and services at the exhibition center in Frankfurt/Main.
With hall 11.0 EuroMold has expanded its position as Europes leading marketplace for Rapid Technologies.

Highlights of EuroMold 2011 were the special show e-Production for everyone and German Moldmaking and Tooling  We create values, as well as the partner country Korea, for the first time organised career exchange and extensive international framework events. A very high resonance experienced the 13th international Wohlers Conference, the design + engineering forum and the Formula Student Workshop.

Many exhibitors from different sectors have reported very good business contacts and important new contracts at the fair. EuroMold 2011 was an innovation and growth driver for the entire product development, due to the great level of innovations that were present. Furthermore, EuroMold has expanded its position as a world fair in this sector.
