As reported by the Heilbronner Stimme, the company ZPF in Siegelsbach (Baden-Württemberg) has been taken over by the FRECH Group from Schorndorf.
According to the report, the negotiations were concluded shortly before Christmas and there is an excellent perspective for the long-term preservation of ZPF.
The parties involved unanimously reported that the agreement, which came into force on 1 January 2022, was based on an excellent concept and, together with FRECH, resulted in a lot of synergies.
The situation arose after ZPF GmbH had to open insolvency proceedings in November 2021 after orders in the automotive industry were postponed due to multiple production stoppages.
ZPF GmbH was formed in 2013 from the insolvency of the predecessor company, which was originally founded in 1993. As a specialist for aluminium melting furnaces, ZPF will now become part of the FRECH Group, a family-owned company based in Schorndorf near Stuttgart, Germany. FRECH is a globally renowned manufacturer of die casting machines with production facilities in Schorndorf and Shanghai, Poland and Austria.
ZPF complements the portfolio for melting and recycling furnaces and offers new options for areas.
The management of the ZPF division in the new FRECH-ZPF GmbH remains with Norbert Feth and Oliver Melzer.
In addition to melting technology, new areas such as thermal process and environmental technology should also be considered for the future.
