On January 15th 2019, the British House of Commons will decide on the Brexit Treaty, which Prime Minister Theresa May has negotiated with the EU. Presumably, she will lose the vote and then get a new chance when it has become clear that an exit without a contract is extremely expensive. According to "The Guardian", the EU sees the March 29th deadline as completely unrealistic and expects a request for extension from May. Brussels is preparing to extend the deadline until July of 2019.
We are all curious about the development and, in due course, will report on the consequences for the foundry industry in the UK and in Europe.
