German auto industry keen on investing India

An official of Germany Trade and Invest said that German auto industry is keen on attracting Indian investments and has offered grants of up to 50% depending upon the region.

Senior Manager of the organisation Sebastian Wittke told the Indo-German Automotive Investment Forum that "Germany hosts over 130 innovation clusters in 18 different fields. Germany ranks top in Ernst and Young Automotive Survey 2011.”

Mr Michael Pfeiffer chief executive of Germany Trade & Invest said that "Germany is an ideal destination for Indian companies because of its culture of innovation, innovation and access to entire European markets. Especially the ingenuity found in the Eastern part of the country makes it attractive for potential partners from India."
