Germany passenger car exports in January up by 17.8%

According to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry, In January this year, new passenger car registrations in the German market remained stable year on year at 192,100 units and were down six percent compared to December 2012.

During January this year, a total of 310,700 passenger cars were exported from Germany, decreasing by eight percent compared to January 2012 and up 17.8 percent month on month. On the other hand, 394,300 cars were produced in Germany in January, falling 11 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and up 21.4 percent month on month.

In January, new commercial vehicle registrations in Germany fell by 15 percent year on year to 19,910 units, while they were down by 14.3 percent compared to December 2012.
