Hanover. The Defense Production Area in Hall 26 is the central platform for manufacturers and suppliers whose technologies, machines, systems, or components are used in the production of security-related products.

“HANNOVER MESSE shows how artificial intelligence, digitalization, and automation are making the factories of today and tomorrow more efficient, flexible, and productive,” says Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG. “The new Defense Production Area offers visitors from the defense and security industry in particular a central location to learn about solutions for scaling their production safely and efficiently.”

The focus is on solutions along the entire industrial value chain – from automation and additive manufacturing to digitalization solutions and innovative materials. The new exhibition area brings suppliers and users together and promotes targeted exchange on industrial production for safety-critical applications.

The attractive environment of the Defense Production Area in Hall 26 offers synergies with the directly adjacent topics of robotics, logistics, IT/OT security, IIoT, wireless, and cloud.

The cooperation partner is Defense & Security Equipment International Germany (DSEI Germany), which will take place for the first time at the Hanover Exhibition Center in March 2027.
