According to Danieli, the modernization of MBLZ No. 2 will expand its round billet casting range with a new diameter of 310 mm, which will increase production flexibility. As part of this order, Danieli will carry out detailed engineering, mechanical and technological design, which will ensure smooth integration into the existing Foundry infrastructure.
"This project strengthens Danieli's long–standing partnership with INTERPIPE Steel, built on shared technical expertise and closely coordinated engineering efforts," the statement said.
The new circular section is being developed to ensure the production of high-quality steel, while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability. This equipment will be designed in accordance with modern performance standards of Interpipe Steel casting processes.
Its commissioning is expected before the end of 2026.
