KUALA LUMPUR - About 4,000 members of the Federation of Malaysian <link _top>Foundry and Engineering Industry Association (FOMFEIA) are expected to get financial assistance from RHB Bank Bhd following a tie-up between the association and the bank.
RHB group managing director, Michael Joseph Barrett said the bank will be the primary business partner for FOMFEIA members and they will receive the best offers from RHB Bank for all their financial needs.
Barret said under a recent deal between RHB Credit Card and FOMFEIA, one percent of the transaction amount recorded by the association's members on the bank's Platinum Business Card, will be given to the association in the form of cash rebate.
There will also be free travel insurance coverage, he told reporters.
He said that in the future, there will be more opportunities for collaboration between RHB Bank and other organisations and companies amid the growing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) market.
Meanwhile, the chairman of FOMFEIA, Liew Chee Ming, said the collaboration marked a milestone for the association's members as most of the members had been facing difficulties in obtaining financial assistance in the current situation.
