The 15th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL will be held at the Targi Kielce exhibition centre from 29th September to 1st October 2009. It will be held simultaneously with the 8th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-ferrous Metal Products, ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET as well as the 10th Fair of Industrial Measuring Technologies CONTROL-TECH. In total, these fair events will attract a few hundred exhibitors from all over the world.
Last year's METAL in Kielce brought together almost 400 exhibitors from as many as 30 countries. Thus, half of all the stands were prepared by companies operating beyond Poland, and even beyond Europe. The International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL is the best opportunity to become acquainted with state-of-the-art metal heat treatment equipment as well as computer aided casting and foundry process design systems. The range of exhibited products encompasses all areas of the foundry industry, beginning with materials, sand and binders; finishing with metallic charge and scrap. 
There will also be special equipment, furnaces, metalworking machines, as well as auxiliary equipment. Therefore all those attending this fair will find something interesting for themselves: visitors - a whole range of products, exhibitors - new markets. The location of this fair (on EU's eastern border) provides companies operating in the East and in the West with an excellent platform for exchanging experience and establishing co-operation. The Kielce METAL fair enjoys membership of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), which brings together the world's most prestigious fair events.
This fair is organized in co-operation with the Foundry Economic Chamber, the Polish Foundrymen’s Technical Association, and the Foundry Research Institute.
METAL will be held simultaneously with the 8th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-ferrous Metal Products, ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET, In 2008, this fair attracted 170 exhibitors from Poland and abroad - producers operating in the non-ferrous metal industry. With exhibited non-ferrous metals, non-ferrous metal ores, noble metals, as well as all kinds of equipment utilized for processing these raw materials, this fair excellently complements the range of products offered at the foundry fair. ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET, which attracts specialists from all over the world, is just a fair dedicated to the materials of the future. This exhibition is organized in co-operation with the Institute of Non-ferrous Metals in Gliwice.
From 29th September to 1st October, another fair event will also be held, i.e. the 10th Fair of Industrial Measuring Technology CONTROL-TECH. This event, which last year brought together 160 companies from 15 countries, will feature measurement devices, testing equipment and laboratory instruments. This fair enjoys an annually recorded increase in the number of both exhibitors and visitors. Exhibition stands will be prepared by leaders of the market - Poland's largest companies specializing in the distribution of coordinate measurement machines and manual measuring instruments. The fair will feature, among other things, hardness testing machines, inspection and measuring microscopes, roughness testing devices, industrial scales, tools, industrial and laboratory viscometers, as well as many other pieces of equipment for quality control and measurements. The Kielce CONTROL-TECH fair excellently combines the world of science and research with business.
