The Metallurgy Litmash 2012 took place in late May in Moscow. Unfortunately, almost three weeks after the fair, we haven’t received any current visitor numbers but we assume that the figure is similar as in previous years with an estimated 7,000 trade visitors. All the major international suppliers presented their latest developments, particularly strong was Germany and Italy. The experts still discuss about the future development of the foundry industry in Russia. There is an expectation that after the elections, provided that there will be political stability, investments which have been long postponed will be made. The demand in Russia is great - good opportunities for suppliers!
