The 30th Anniversary of Omega:
It was a great celebration with representatives and guests from all over the world.
Omega invited guests to the British city of Peterborough followed by a visit to the dignified Belvoir Castle. To the delight of the guests, they were able to arrive as knights, noblemen or in national dress. The positive Omega Spirit was expressed in every way.
WFO President Vinod Kapur from India praised the major contributions of CEO Mark Fenyes in his speech, and it is through this kind of leadership that Omega developed into a leading international supplier.
"With Mark Fenyes we have a man at the top who knows the foundry industry and foundrymen and passionately works for the development of foundry machinery.”
The company was originally known as Baker Perkins and began to function independently in 1984. After this time, they began to specialize on the production of sand mixers as well as the treatment and preparation of chemically bonded sand.
In the last 30 years the number of employees has grown worldwide from 12 staff members to 150, with five production locations around the world.
The successful anniversary celebration was celebrated by the staff while Mark Lewis and Chris Wilding stood in as moderators who professionally guided the audience through the various program points.
Happy Birthday Omega!
