"The 73rd Word Foundry Congress has ended. More than 200 presentations, 180 posters, 40 regular scientific and technical sessions took place during two Congress days in ICE Congress Center in Krakow. The Congress was also a meeting place for more than 100 students, young researchers and practitioners who took part in the two-day Young Researcher’s Seminar. Two exhibitions took place during the Congress. A historical Exhibition focused on the development of foundry industry during the years and a Creative Foundry Exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors from around the world and along with a lot of accompanying and social events.Thanks to all who participated, it was an incredible event, fruitful for all Congress participants with more than 900 people from 43 countries, representatives of both foundry industry and scientific area.
Now we would like to thank all authors for their scientific and technical contributions which guaranteed the high scientific and technical level of the event. We would like to thank all exhibitors who have created such an interesting exhibition under the motto “Creative Foundry”. What is more we would like to thank all the Congress participants and visitors, the popularity of the Congress shows how important and awaited this event has been.
