69th World Foundry Congress (WFC2010) Oct 16-20 in Hangzhou, China.
The Congress and the FOUNDEX fair was supported by the WFO and the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (Ficmes).

The WFC 2010 was organized with the theme "Green Foundry". The reason behind this choice was that our world is facing the pressures of energy, resources and environment. Therefore, how to explore new casting technologies and methods for energy conservation and environmental protection is, indeed, a crucial problem to be solved for the sake of harmonius and sustainable development between human society and the nature.
