At the recently completed GIFA 2019 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany Simpson Technologies Corporation again renewed the exclusive manufacturing license agreement for the Simpson Speedmullor® in Brazil with Küttner do Brasil Equipamentos Siderúrgicos Ltda. (KDB) located in Belo Horizonte (MG), Brazil. This Agreement is a multi-year continuation of the successful partnership begun in 1988 and again includes the marketing of the Simpson Hartley brand on-line control and mixer group automation products in Brazil by KDB as an integral part of the Speedmullor system. Since the cooperation began, Küttner do Brasil has produced more than 90 Simpson Speedmullors locally in Brazil including such leading foundries as Fundição Becker, Metalsider, Fundição WEG, Mahle Metal Leve SA, INTERCAST S/A, Schulz S/A, Whirlpool S/A, INAPI, TRW Automotive and Metalúrgica Voigt Ltda.
Upon signing the renewal Mr. Jörg E. Hagedorn, Managing Partner of Küttner do Brasil, stated “we are very pleased to continue and strengthen our cooperation with Simpson Technologies in Brazil. As it is well known to our customers in the foundry industry that the Simpson Speedmullor is the most effective mixer for green sand preparation with Brazilian and Argentine bentonite.”
