Jinhueng Foundry in South Korea, receive the 100,000th Tonne of Elkem Foundry Alloys produced in 2016.
Capping off another positive year for Elkem Foundry, with celebrations to mark the sale of the 100,000th Tonne of Foundry Alloys Production.
Kimchi and Soju all round, as key staff from Jinhueng Foundry joined by our South Korea Sales Manager and our valued Distributor ABC Corporation, enjoyed the evening celebration.
It was fitting that Jinhueng Foundry receive this award, they being one of the first South Korean Foundries to switch to Elkem Alloys back in 2013 when annual sales were 700mt per year. Since that time our energetic and enthusiastic team in Korea has grown the business consistently each year, and in 2016 will exceed 3,000mt of Elkem Foundry Alloy shipments from Bjølvefossen and Bremanger.
