China Knowledge reported that Daimler AG's luxury car unit Mercedes-Benz unit sold 15,860 vehicles in China in April this year reflecting a YoY decrease of 8%.
In the first four months of this year, the company delivered a record 70,580 units of Mercedes-Benz, Smart, AMG and Maybach in China upb y 15%YoY.
Last month, the sales of Smart model were 1,434 units, taking the total sales in the first four months to 6,190 units, reflecting a robust growth of 85% of year on year.
Mr Klaus Maier president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz China Ltd said that the sales in the first four month indicated that the auto maker is moving towards its double-digit growth target for this year.
