Franken Guss Kitzingen GmbH has placed an order with the Swedish company pour-tech AB for the delivery of one unheated automatic pouring ladle for an automatic pouring process. The pouring unit is equipped with a 3D line laser system and a modern instream inoculation device. The total capacity of the ladle is 2.400 kg and Franken Guss will install the system on a DISAMATIC 231-C molding line capable of producing up to 450 moulds per hour.
The pouring system is equipped with a hydraulic back tilt function for quick changes of metal grades, making it very flexible for the production of automotive castings of grey, ductile and CGI.
