Bloomberg reported that ThyssenKrupp AG designated CEO Mr Heinrich Hiesinger's task will be to expand the company's industrial business through acquisitions when he takes the helm next year.
As per report, Mr Hiesinger will be given scope for takeovers to bolster the company's ties to the chemical industry.
The report added that ThyssenKrupp also aims to become a leading producer of wind power plants.
