According to the statistics provided by the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association, in August this year Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 475,861 tonnes decreasing by 4.8% YoY and down by 8.7% from the previous month of this year.
Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled USD 342.8 million rising by 25.12% compared to August 2010 and falling 6.5% from the previous month of this year.
On the other hand, in the first 8 months of this year, Turkey's rebar exports stood at 4.62 million tonnes up 9.23% YoY while the total revenue of these exports amounted to USD 3.13 billion increasing by 32.86% as compared to August 2010.
In August, Turkey's rebar exports to UAE the largest rebar export destination of Turkey declined 17.63% while rebar exports to Israel increased 213% both compared to July this year.
