Today MAGMASOFT® is used throughout metal casting industry, especially for the optimization of cast components in automotive and heavy industry applications.

MAGMA Giessereitechnologie GmbH was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Aachen, Germany. The fact that MAGMA concentrates on foundry and injection molding technology and, therefore has accumulated more user knowledge in the company than any competitor, provides a significant technological advantage.
From a total of 135 employees, 85 are located in the headquarters in Aachen, Germany. Amongst these there are 40 software developers and 25 PhDs. MAGMA employs more casting engineers than most foundries. 35% of the revenue is reinvested into Research & Development.
