Founded in 1946, AMAFOND is the Italian association of foundry machinery and product suppliers. Among its members, Amafond counts the leading Italian manufacturers of industrial furnaces, green sand and no-bake plants, core shooters, gravity and low pressure plants, die casting machineries, moulds and cores and products for the ferrous and non-ferrous foundry industry.
It currently represents about 100 manufactures responsible for the majority of the Italian output in this sector, which is sold worldwide. AMAFOND, in collaboration with Italian Trade Agency, organizes for the 2023 edition of the GIFA, the collective presence of a group of 40 companies. On show the technological and product innovations in two separate pavilions, positioned respectively in Hall 11 (light alloys) and Hall 16 (ferrous metals) of the fair, on a total of 1500 square meters.
Exhibitors and visitors are welcome at the "Piazza Italia". The “Piazza”, according to Italian traditions, represents a meeting place and a symbol of the sense of belonging to the city where you will find art, a good glass of wine and the possibility to see the latest news presented by the Italian companies.
