The best 20 papers will be selected by a scientific panel for a second round, where the work will be further elaborated in the form of a 15-minute video. These papers will be presented at a digital conference in April 16th to 17th. The 10 best authors will be given the opportunity to present their work at the IdeenExpo (IdeenExpo GmbH) 2024 in Hanover. In addition, the three most outstanding authors will be invited to the 75th World Foundry Congress in Deyang, China, to present their work. There is also prize money for the best three authors: gold €8,000, silver €4,000 and bronze €2,000. Master students, PhD students and young professionals under the age of 35 can participate.
The conference topics include CASTING SOLUTIONS, DIGITAL METHODS AND ENGINEERING FOR FOUNDRY and CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABLE FOUNDRY.
