The theme of the event is “Developing Foundry“. Under the leadership and support of the WFO and with the joint efforts of foundry professionals, we will dedicate a great event for the global foundry industry again!
We now sincerely invite you, who are devoted to foundry research and application, to actively share and exchange views and achievements in way of papers and presentations.
Papers related to foundry can be submitted, including but not limited to the following topics:
Ferrous alloy:
cast steel,cast iron and the composite materials
Non-ferrous alloy:
aluminum alloys, copper alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys, zinc alloys, etc.
Molding material:
base sand, binders, additives, auxiliary materials, etc.
Process & technology:
advanced foundry processes and technologies, equipment and detection technologies based on sand casting, metal mould casting, etc.
Digitalization & intelligence:
numerical simulation, internet plus, artificial intelligence, digital factory, 3D printing,etc.
Management:
factory planning, design and renovation; lean production, and quality management, etc.
Sustainable development:
policy interpretation, environmental protection and emissions reduction, occupational health, talent cultivation and education, etc.
Rules for atuhors
All submitted papers should be original in English that has not been previously published or under consideration of publication elsewhere, and not less than 3500 words. The data should be true and accurate, and the paper should be written clear in logic and complete in content. The paper should include title, author's name and affiliation, abstract, keywords, introduction, main body, conclusion and references.
The abstract with no less than 150 words should summarize the research purpose, method, process, and results of the study, and should not contain figures and tables.
A brief introduction of the corresponding author should be provided, including name, gender, title, degree, research interest, and email address.
Writing Requirements
(1) The full paper should be written in Microsoft Word, A4, and 10 pt Times New Roman and single-spacing for the main body.
(2) The figures, tables and formulas in the paper should be numbered consecutively in Roman numerals. All figures should be above 300dpi. Three-line tables should be adopted, and formulas should be edited using the Word Formula Editor, instead of pictures. Figures, tables, and formulas should follow the relevant descriptions in the text.
Publication
Full paper after acceptance will be included in the proceedings of the 75th World Foundry Congress, and excellent papers approved by experts will be recommended to be published in CHINA FOUNDRY journal.
