Magna Automotive Europe GmbH, part of the Cosma Group of Magna International, announced the acquisition of the Czech company Klein automotive s.r.o.
With a production plant in Stity, Eastern Bohemia, Klein automotive produces automotive parts by stamping, welding, machining, heat treatment and assembly to a broad range of OEM and Tier 1 customers. According to Czech press reports the transactions is this year´s largest in the automotive sector in the Czech Republic.
Canada-based Magna group is a global leader in the automotive industry with a world-wide turnover of approx. USD 40bn and 159,000 employees, from which 5,400 work in ten production sites in the Czech Republic alone.
