- ZF ranks 1st in readers' choices of the three most important German automotive magazines
- ZF offers a broad passenger car transmission portfolio
Three independent surveys on the best brands in the German automotive industry determined ZF as the best brand in the "Transmissions" category. With more than 70 percent of the votes, ZF was far ahead of its direct competitors.
In the well-established readers' survey, "Best Brands", of automotive magazine "auto motor und sport", ZF ranked first for the seventh time in a row. With 79 percent of the votes, an overwhelming majority named ZF when asked for the brand that is most convincing in the "Transmissions" category. This result was the best ZF has achieved since the first "Best Brand" readers' choice in 2006.
In 2012, the "Auto Bild" group also asked its readers for the best brands in the automotive area. Here, 74 percent named ZF when determining the best passenger car transmission brand. ZF also stood out in the "Best of 2011" brand survey of the "Auto Zeitung". 25.500 of the readers voted ZF no1 in the "Transmissions" category.
"The strong acceptance on the part of the end customers is a very valuable acknowledgement for us", says Dr. Gerhard Wagner, member of ZF's Board of Management and responsible for the Powertrain Technology Division. "It is proof of and incentive for our innovation leadership. The preferences of car drivers are very important for the development of all passenger car transmissions from ZF."
