Where is ABP Induction headed in the coming years – and what strategy should guide that journey? Management, the General Managers of ABP’s international subsidiaries, and the heads of technical departments discussed these questions during a strategy meeting at company headquarters in Dortmund.
After the strategic principles for future action were defined in Sweden last year, this year’s focus was on setting time-bound goals and identifying the key stakeholders needed to support them. After several intensive seminar days in
Sprockhövel, the individual groups presented their results at company headquarters in Dortmund.
Technical topics from day-to-day operations were also discussed at headquarters, and one evening, guests from Germany and abroad were treated to a special highlight: a stadium tour of Signal Iduna Park – from the players’ locker room to the coach’s bench. It became clear that Borussia Dortmund is known as far away as Mexico, making the walk through the players’ tunnel into the stadium a truly special experience. Of course, a group photo in the press conference room was a must. All in all, it was a highly productive and engaging strategy meeting – one that sharpened our focus on the future and brought the team even closer together. Because it’s the people who make ABP Induction what it is.
