At the start of the GIFA 2019, HA Group completes the announced change at the top operational level.
After 19 years as Managing Director (altogether 25 years at HA), Carsten Kuhlgatz joins the Supervisory Board and hands over operational management to Franz Butz and Christoph Koch, who now act as President and Managing Director.
At a festive dinner, Carsten Kuhlgatz received a lot of thanks and honor after the group developed very positively under his leadership. The transformation from a German family business to the leading global player in foundry chemistry in 30 countries around the world is largely attributable to Kuhlgatz's tireless efforts.
As a member of the Supervisory Board, Carsten Kuhlgatz remains in the industry and is also seeking an important position in the World Foundry Organization, where he will become WFO President from 2022 onwards.
With much gratitude to employees and customers, and above all to his wife Katja, Kuhlgatz is now entering a new phase of life, while Franz Butz and Christoph Koch, together with the HA family, want to further develop the company's spirit and master the challenges of the future.
