NürnbergMesse Group, the German exhibition company, will continue to provide service to China's automotive industry with its global knowledge and in-depth experience. The group has identified the automotive industry as one of the most important sectors in its business portfolio and has worked hard to serve clients' evolving demands in the past few years in China.
The SAE-China Congress and Exhibition (SAECCE), organized by NürnbergMesse and SAE-China, has become an important platform for Chinese and international automotive companies to demonstrate their latest research and development results each year. More than 120 leading original equipment manufacturers and automotive suppliers participated in the 2015 event with technologies and products covering the entire industry chain. Future technologies such as new-energy vehicles, intelligent and connected systems and autonomous driving were the focus this year.
"There are rarely exhibitions focusing on the research and development sector of automotive industry," said Roland Fleck, CEO of NürnbergMesse Group. "It is an exhibition tailor-made to the customers we address.
"With our global resources connected, we see huge potential in SAECCE and in other of our automotive topic shows in China.
"Our target is to develop this exhibition in upcoming years and achieve higher growth."
Broad market coverage
The SAECCE, which the company organizes for its partner SAE-China, is only part of NürnbergMesse Group's global automotive exhibition and conference portfolio. The company, which has more than 40 years development history, has accumulated in-depth experiences and knowledge in organizing automotive-related events and strong market penetration.
"NürnbergMesse is present with automotive related topics in the fastest growing regions in the world, including Germany, the United States, China and India," Fleck said.
"In China, we will further explore products and event platforms for the Chinese automotive industry. E-mobility and new energy will be the core topics, among others."
In Germany, experts from automotive manufacturers and automotive system suppliers meet in Nuremberg at the Automotive Engineering Expo to exchange views on car body development, painting and assembly.
The Embedded World trade show is more specialized and focuses on electronic systems, distributed intelligence, e-mobility and energy efficiency, which are connected to the technology development of the automotive industry.
The Sensor+Test measurement fair, which touches on the most central technology of automotive research and development, is also part of NürnbergMesse's exhibition portfolio.
Euroguss in Germany and Alucast in India, two international die casting shows, and the European Coatings Show and PaintIndia add to NürnbergMesse's worldwide product family of automotive topics.
"As a trade fair organizer, we offer products which bring the highest efficiency within the shortest period of time. Producers meeting buyers, engineers meeting their peers, marketing experts meeting competitors — based on our personal experiences and networking, we bring people together and help create new ideas and business opportunities."
Niche market focus
NürnbergMesse Group is a successful exhibition company that organizes events for specific market.
Fleck said its niche market focus is the key to NürnbergMesse Group's a success in the global exhibition market.
"Both our exhibitors and visitors are professionals, who only expect products or solutions that are most relevant to their work," he said.
"Focused shows enable us to provide more efficient and tailored platforms for them, making the exhibition and conference days give the best value for their marketing expenses," he added.
Global platform
Operating in China from 2007, NürnbergMesse China is an important communication platform between China and Germany.
"We act as a bridge bringing in government officials and industry leaders from both China and other parts of the world on our platform, to exchange and share point of views on policy direction and industry trends," Fleck said.
Looking forward, Fleck said he remains optimistic about the Chinese market despite the slowing economy in recent years.
"Indeed, China's latest GDP growth rate slowed to 6.9 percent, which is still much higher than those of developed countries. We will continue to see China as one of the most important markets," he said.
Fleck said the Chinese exhibition industry has entered an adjustment period, with the government showing stronger support than before. He believes it is a good time to introduce more successful brands into the Chinese market.
"Trade fairs in China are becoming more professional, market-oriented and international," he said.
"Based on the core competence of NürnbergMesse, we bring our successful trade fair brands to China and to other relevant target markets."
NürnbergMesse entered the market in China and India with activities for the sister shows of Euroguss, such as China Diecasting and Alucast. Both trade fairs are part of the global diecasting network of Euroguss, which is Europe's biggest trade fair for die casting.
"We observe very carefully market trends based on the fact that we always accompany our customers in order to satisfy their needs and to realize their visions," Fleck said. "Where our customers plan to explore, we will create a high-quality platform for them."
