Intelligent deburring solutions

The advantage: minimal transport routes, maximum flexibility. Additional processing stations are not required.
The tool management is monitored several times for safety and sensors, so that there are no hazards for man or machine. The robot also notices when the tool becomes blunt: by detecting the changes in speed, the KUKA KR QUANTEC nano can adjust the feed speed. If necessary, it can be sanded down to the last abrasive grain.
Central clamping unit and simple programming make work easier
The robot cleans different components in a minimal set-up time. This is where intelligence meets power: the KR QUANTEC nano scores with its rigid kinematics and also measures vibrations. Before the system moves into a critical area for the tool, the robot counteracts it. Another advantage is the central clamping unit. The KUKA 3-axis positioner optimally aligns the components with the machining tool - without annoying clamping arms or clamps that hinder the robot.
Steffen Jacobi sees further advantages for foundries in the simple programming: “The wireless control package KUKA.Handguiding with ready2_pilot makes it easy to learn and control robots. Even inexperienced people can get started in a few minutes without programming knowledge and teach simple paths. "
