There is a large choice of shelf-type robots from MOTOMAN available for users in the foundry and forging industry. The six robot types are used for example injection molding, PET or blow molding processes. Thereby loading and unloading workpieces, palletising or for complex further processing.

The shelf-mounted robots can also be used in the plastic industry, for press operation and general material handling. The six shelf-type robots are particularly impressive due to their low own weight, the different reaches and working areas. The payloads range from 35 to 200 kg. At the same time, the developers have placed great importance on the well-known, slender wrist size from MOTOMAN during the design of the shelf-type robots. In combination with the slender arm, entering narrow work spaces is made possible. In practice, this means that the tool of the machine tools does not have to be fully opened which produces, among other things, cycle time savings for the user.

Six shelf-type robots which convince:

  • MOTOMAN-HP20RN
Max. payload:   20 kg, max. reach: 2,017 mm, Weight:    315 kg

  • MOTOMAN-UP50RN-35:
Max. payload:   35 kg, max. reach: 2,700 mm, Weight:    600 kg
  • MOTOMAN-ES165RN:
Max. payload: 165 kg, max. reach: 3,140 mm, Weight: 1,540 kg
  • MOTOMAN-ES200RN:
Max. payload: 200 kg, max. reach: 3,140 mm, Weight: 1,570 kg
  • MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120:
Max. payload: 120 kg, max. reach: 4,004 mm, Weight: 1,560 kg
  • MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120S
Max. payload: 120 kg, max. reach: 3,500 mm, Weight: 1,530 kg
  • World´s largest shelf-mounted robot

The MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120 can be described as the largest shelf-type robot world wide in the 120 kg class. Its technical specifications are impressive and convincing: The robot provides a horizontal reach of 4,004 mm and a reach down into the machine of 2,798 mm with a payload of 120 kg.
Due to numerous weight optimisation measures, the MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120 has an own weight of only 1,560 kg. The opening time of the tool is minimised due to its high traverse speeds.

At the same time, the developers have placed great importance on the well-known, slender wrist size from MOTOMAN which, combined with the slender arm, also makes entering narrow work spaces possible. In practice, this means that the tool of the die-casting machine does not have to be fully opened which also saves cycle time.
The shelf-mounted ES200RN-120 on the die-casting machine can take over loading and unloading activities and subsequent, complex further processing. However, it can also be used in the plastics industry, press operation and for general material handling.

Special features of the shelf-mounted MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120S:

    • The MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120 is the world´s largest shelf-mounted robot
    • Downward reach (e.g. for loading and unloading machines): 2,798 mm
    • Integrated hose package
    • Extremely high tracking speeds
    • Tool opening times have been reduced to a minimum
    • Applications include loading and unloading of Injection molding machines
    • Die casting machines
    • Presses
    • Material handling (general)

New entrant at the family of the shelf-type robots: The compact MOTOMAN HP20RN, ideally suitably for space-saving automation of machines from above.

The shelf-type robot MOTOMAN-ES200RN-120S convinces with its max. working area of 3,500 mm and a low weight of 1,530 kg.

The advantage of the MOTOMAN-UP50RN-35 is the slim wrist. This means, in combination with the slender arm, that the robot can enter narrow work spaces. Thus, reducing cycle time since the tool of the machine does not have to be fully opened.
