Reading time: min

SimpsonAt the GIFA exhibition in 2011 Simpson Technologies again renewed the exclusive manufacturing license agreement for the Simpson Speedmullor® in Brazil with Küttner do Brasil Equipamentos Siderúrgicos Ltda. located in Belo Horizonte (MG).  This Agreement is a multi-year continuation of the successful partnership begun in 1988 and again includes the marketing of the Simpson+Hartley brand on-line control and mixer group automation products in Brazil by KDB as an integral part of the Speedmullor system.  As part of this agreement, Simpson Technologies has committed to transfer to Küttner the latest generation of updates to the designs of the 100B-200, 100B-250 and 150B Speedmullors.  An investigation will also take place during this period of cooperation concerning the potential for other Simpson sand preparation technologies in the Brazilian market.

Since the cooperation began, Küttner do Brasil has produced approximately 70 Simpson Speedmullors locally in Brazil including recent projects with such leading foundries as WHB Fundição, DURAMETAL, Fundição Araguaia Ltda., Sada Siderurgia, Schulz SA and Minatti Fundição.

Upon signing the renewal Mr. Jörg E. Hagedorn, Managing Partner of Küttner do Brasil, stated "we are very pleased to continue and strengthen our cooperation with Simpson Technologies in Brazil and South America.  As it is well known to our customers in the foundry industry that the Simpson Speedmullor is the most effective mixer for green sand preparation with Brazilian and Argentine bentonite."

Simpson President Mr. Bruce Dienst echoed Mr. Hagedorn's sentiment - "We consider Küttner do Brasil a key strategic partner.  Brazil is one of the world's most important foundry industries and we consider our presence there in cooperation with such a strong partner as an essential part of our worldwide growth strategy.  We look forward to building on this strong record of cooperation and success."
