Mark attended Purdue University and brings over 16 years of foundry experience to the table. Mark has served as core supervisor, molding supervisor, core superintendent and materials manager between Traverse City Gray Iron, Dalton Corporation and his own family’s foundry. Mark has also worked as an applications engineer for Global Marketing Organization Minerals, where he was responsible for new product development and implementation of those products.
Most recently, Mark wrote the patent for BRS-1 and partnered with Kurtz Bros. to form KB Foundry Services, where he developed, produced and sold bentonite reclamation equipment. Mark stated, “When we were looking for someone to partner with us to build and sell the BRS-1 unit, Sinto was at the top of the list. I’m thrilled and honored to now be part of this outstanding organization.”
In his free time, Mark enjoys cross-country skiing, gardening with his wife and growing really hot peppers! Mark makes his own hot sauces and spice blends for family and friends!
