Following a review of Omega’s manufacturing and sales operations in SE Asia it has been decided to open up a satellite manufacturing facility in Malaysia to support the sales and service function of WES-Omega and Omega Foundry Machinery in this region. The premises are located in the industrial centre of Ipoh and the operation will be overseen by WOFML Managing Director – Les Craig.
There will be full time local staff employed at the factory and we will also use this as a base to provide local service and commissioning. Omega see this next stage in the group's development as critical both in terms of strategic location and overall production capacity and we are very excited by the future potential that we feel this will bring to the company.
Omega now has manufacturing capabilities in four continents and global sales in the region of €40 Million.
